DESCRIPTION:St Louis is home to one of the richest PetCare ecosystem’s in the world — an ecosystem long overdue to be connected\, activated and unleashed — an ecosystem possessing tremendous potential to realize St Louis as a leading growth hub in the nearly $400B global PetCare industry\, an industry that includes a PetTech sector forecast to grow from $12B to $24B by 2030.\n\n\nWhen:  January 13\, 4-5pm (1st in an ongoing meetup series planned every 2nd Tuesday at 4pm in 2026)\n\n\nWhere:  T-REX\, 5th floor\n\n\nWho:  Anyone ready to actively shape the future of a booming global PetCare industry — entrepreneurs\, founders\, investors\, corporates\, community/civic organizations and more…\n\n\nWhat:  This isn’t a pitch or a panel — it’s the 1st in a series of monthly working conversations focused on activating the potential that exists in St Louis’ unique density of largely disconnected PetCare companies\, capabilities\, knowledge and expertise. These meetups will be a catalyst in connecting and activating our long-disconnected PetCare ecosystem and making St Louis the go-to place for entrepreneurs to start and grow new PetCare businesses\, for investors to fuel that growth and for existing PetCare corporates to find meaningful partnerships/investments and for players in other industries to realize the value of their brand’s in PetCare ventures.\n\n\nDid you know that there are more than 30 high-signal PetCare\, PetTech\, VetCare\, VetTech companies whose HQ’s are in the St Louis region?  Our region is unique in PetCare\, possessing 1) anchor gravity\, 2) execution infrastructure\, 3) real-world care knowledge\, capability and access and 4) an active community of emerging brands\, startups and investors.  Other regions may have 1-2 of these.  St Louis has all of them.  This reinforces that St Louis is not an emerging ecosystem — it’s an under-activated one that doesn’t need to be created\, just engaged.
