Position:  Administrative Manager, T-REX Innovation Center

Reports To:  Chief Financial Officer and Facilities Director

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for administering critical operational activities for the T-REX Innovation Center, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, monitoring physical security operations, monitoring and overseeing daily cleaning crew, researching products and supplies for quality and pricing, and ensuring compliance with registrations and grant and contract documentation.

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in project/administrative management.


  1. Maintain accounting workflow by entering invoice information into Quickbooks, printing checks, preparing deposits, filing, occasional bank visits, and handling any other accounting duties as outlined by the CFO.
  2. Investigate, order, and track supplies by identifying needs for office, Innovation Conference Center and cleaning crew at T-REX.
  3. Track credit card purchases and ensure documentation.
  4. Manage office contracts such as telephone, internet, and Microsoft accounts. 
  5. Draft letters to sponsors and partners.
  6. Handle documentation and distribution of facility work orders.
  7. Manage and communicate daily needs with cleaning crew.
  8. Assist with booking, billing, and support for events; event customer service; occasional evening support for events.
  9. Assist with ensuring conference technology operation for meetings and events in T-REX Innovation Conference Center.
  10. Prepare weekly events listing for cleaning crew and security guard desk.
  11. Manage security systems workflow by providing key codes to tenants/employees; track any abuses of key codes; maintain files of daily security reports and view security camera footage when necessary.
  12. Ensure all rental tenants have current insurance for their businesses.
  13. Maintain office files for vendors, office space rental, co-working tenants, grants, etc.
  14. Provide historical reference in the compilation of grants or other fund-raising initiatives.
  15. Research products and services for possible purchase or implementation.
  16. Organize and coordinate information and requirements for special projects.

Position: T-REX XR Administration RFP

Title: XR Lab Administrator

Position Summary:

T-Rex is seeking a local St. Louis based XR company to plan, manage, and operate administration of the Midwest XR Consortium and XR lab, located in downtown St. Louis, MO. The XR lab must be staffed at least 2 days per week with XR developers able to lead workshops, training sessions, and informative simulations for a wide range of companies. The developers must be flexible in availability with a deep understanding of XR equipment to assist local companies in their use.

The selected company must have an office presence in the T-Rex building and demonstrate the ability to effectively work with the T-Rex staff. They must provide developers that have a proven record of success with use of the new technologies and the patience, friendliness, and willingness to work with people that may or may not have a wide range of technical knowledge and understanding.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • In concert with T-REX leadership, ability to implement and help develop program plans to include budgeting, milestones, and execution for the XR Studio and Consortium.
  • Serve as the focal point to organize, plan and operate administration of the Midwest XR Consortium.
  • Provide developers with the ability to deliver both oral and written presentations and technical demonstrations to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Support the acquisition, maintenance, and operation of the T-REX XR research lab equipment and capabilities.
  • Research the latest industry innovations and recommend technology and products for adoption.
  • Maintain awareness of current and emerging technologies through individual research and attendance at technology related events such as conferences, conventions, trade shows, and demonstrations. Collaborate with Research and Development organizations, Academia, and Industry to maintain awareness of technology trends.
  • Validate robust, state-of-the-art immersive technologies such as augmented and virtual reality visualization to enable/enhance capabilities for T-REX and their partners, including the geospatial community.
  • Collaborate to conceptualize applications of new immersive capabilities and train users with XR technologies.
  • Prioritize opportunities based on current standing requirements, schedules, and available resources.
  • Coordinate with vendors and conduct technology reviews and demonstrations.
  • Provide input to leadership, peers, support personnel, and contractors regarding identification, selection, and tailoring technology solutions.
  • Identify practical application of new technologies.
  • Develop a Variety of Interactive XR Simulations and applications to test and showcase features and integrations with multiple systems.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve simulations and applications.
  • Continue research of development trends and opportunities to support the success and expansion of XR applications and simulations.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of simulations and applications including maintenance, updates, and API integrations.
  • Help build and refine documentation and standards, including workflows, checklists, guides, tutorials, templates, etc.
  • Install, configure, and set up technological equipment in the Lab or coordinate and supervision if third party installation is required.
  • Train and teach use of the Lab equipment and showcase to non-technical users.
  • Provide responsive, accurate, and friendly technical support.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Lead teams of developers through XR project planning, architecture, and manage lab resources and devices scoped on the project.
  • Lead workshops, training sessions, informative simulations and examples of equipment, and lab hours to assist local companies and their use of XR equipment.

Company Experience & Requirements:

  • Local St. Louis based development company with a demonstrated experience in the start-up community
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of downtown St. Louis area
  • Must provide a reference of local XR development work
  • Must have 8+ years experience developing in Unreal and/or Unity development
  • Development for Mixed Reality, Augmented Reality, and/or Virtual Reality applications
  • Vuforia, ARKit, ARCore, and other XR frameworks
  • C++ and C#
  • Expert 3D modeling and rigging
  • High Performance and optimization ability
  • AR/VR Device Profiling
